Assistant Accountant

Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and assisting in financial reporting. Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily accounting tasks
- Prepare financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
- Update financial data in databases to ensure accuracy
- Reconcile bank statements
- Assist in monthly closings and preparation of financial reports
- Maintain confidential financial and employee information
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper accounting processes
- Support the finance team in audits and other accounting projects
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Location: NASTP Lahore Cantt
Timings: Mon–Fri 9 AM to 6 PM | Sat 10 AM to 4 PM
Salary: PKR 40K – 60K
