We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Finance to support the financial operations and strategic planning of our organization. This role includes managing core financial activities, providing actionable insights, and assisting senior leadership in financial decision-making. A strong command of Microsoft Excel is essential, as the role involves complex financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to guide business strategy
- Monitor cash flow and ensure effective financial controls and liquidity management
- Build, maintain, and optimize financial models using advanced Excel functions and tools
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Assist with audit processes, compliance, and internal control improvements
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency
- Mentor junior team members and support continuous improvement of finance processes
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or certifications like ACCA/CMA preferred)
- Proven experience in a similar finance or accounting role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and financial modeling
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
- Team-oriented with leadership capabilities and initiative
