Responsibilities:
Support Clients in the administration of container orchestration platforms based on
Kubernetes deploying new platforms, performing upgrades, troubleshooting issues, etc.
Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, to streamline software delivery.
Analyze, identify, and implement automation and optimization opportunities to enhance system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Ansible, Puppet and other automation technologies.
Implement security best practices for cloud and containerized environments, including guardrails, role-based access controls (RBAC), and vulnerability scanning.
Draft technical documentation on cloud platform services, related procedures, and operations.
Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging cloud trends, and new technologies, assessing their potential for adoption or integration.
Requirements:
Experienced in working with container technologies (Docker or other runtimes) and proficient in deploying, managing, and maintaining container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes.
Experience with Cloud-Based container solutions (IaaS & PaaS) in public or private cloud
providers.
Build and operate CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with application modernization approach including containerization, APIs and
microservices.
Hands-on experience on Infrastructure as Code, scripting and automation (Terraform, PowerShell scripting, Bash, Go, Ansible, etc.).
Previous exposure to service management methodologies (ITIL).
