Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and submitting credentialing and re-credentialing applications for healthcare providers to insurance companies, hospitals, and regulatory bodies.
- Collect and verify necessary documents including licenses, certifications, education, work history, malpractice insurance, and background checks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in credentialing databases and tracking systems.
- Follow up on application statuses with payers and providers as needed.
- Communicate with providers, insurance representatives, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of the credentialing process.
- Learn and adhere to credentialing requirements set by NCQA, CMS, and other regulatory agencies.
- Support the team with administrative tasks and data entry.
- Maintain confidentiality of provider information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Experience (Fresh)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel).
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the healthcare credentialing field.
