Job Purpose
The Financial Analyst-Cash App will play a critical role in the Finance Operations team, ensuring accurate and timely application of incoming payments across multiple markets within GSK’s regional hub structure. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex processes in a fast-paced, multinational environment. The role will focus on delivering best-in-class cash application services, driving efficiency, and supporting broader operational goals.
Education, Experience & Skills
ACCA Finalist/ Qualified/ BBA
1 to 2 year of experience
Proficient in ERP (SAP/Oracle) and within Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Must be proficient in English, both written & Spoken
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible in either of the areas of O2C including but not limited to Cash Application, Credit and Debit management, Collection and Dispute management and/or Customer Master Data Maintenance (MDM)
Accurately post and reconcile incoming payments (e.g., bank transfers, cheques etc) to customer accounts across assigned markets.
Understand market-specific requirements and nuances for payment processing, reconciliation, and customer account management.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of accounts receivable.
Provide process updates, and KPI reports related to O2C.
Generate and review reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of cash application activities.
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, unidentified payments, or customer queries in a timely manner.
Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., credit control, collections teams) to address and resolve issues impacting cash application.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams within the hub to ensure streamlined processes and effective communication across markets.
Adhere to GSK’s internal controls and compliance requirements, including SOX and other regulatory standards.
Support the Finance Operations team with miscellaneous tasks, projects, and initiatives as required, including process improvement activities, system upgrades, data analysis, and special requests from leadership or market teams. Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities to address evolving business needs.
