RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate Vendors facilities, capability based on new development before proceeding the sample. Guide and monitor technical team to maintain standard operation procedure. Closely follow up with merchandiser for any new development / samples and review if have any risk factor and required product safety specially for youth wear. Evalute all types of samples, development, proto, fit, size set, jump size set, seal etc with a feasibility study of product and risk analysis. Timely identifying and resolving mass production impracticalities. Handle sample inspection and sample approval by reviewing construction, measurements, patterns, workmanship, garments outlook presentation, fitting (dummy), on fit sample and size set. Coordinate with Wash Technician to educate and implement the shade band/1st batch procedure to makers and laundries to set preview and scan through submits to ensure matching requirement before submits for approval. Participete in PP meeting, review pilot run, monitor mass production for complex products and new vendor. Provide makers technical team the Technical training and support to introduce and reshuffle/ updating sample handling SOP and time frame. Support communications and facilitate of issues resolution during bulk production with merchandising and quality management. Gather all day to day critical fitting issues and do the research where we have improvement plan. Talk to sample makers and factories and find the best possible way to resolve them in a faster solution with cost effective way. Prepare the report and submit to the LW management to bring everyone’s alignment. And finally roll out the system to all LW vendors. Prepare vendor wise quarterly sample fitting issues report. Review these report with line manager and outline a communication note to vendor to track their sample making performance, improvement areas etc as per LW expectation. Accordingly conduct meeting with vendors and communicate with them so that they can follow the same LW expectation which will help to reduce the rejections.
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
- Knowledge on garment fitting, pattern, relevant software etc.
- Self motivated and well disciplined to follow LWR SOP.
- Able to work independently and act proactively.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access).
- Able to communicate effectively with internal functions, vendor’s Merchandising team.
- Confident with “Can do” attitude.
- Experience 9 years.
- Language Proficiency: English and local language fluency in both oral and writing

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate from reputed University. Textile related education preferred.
