Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Business Analyst to join our team. This role is perfect for recent graduates or individuals with up to 6 months to 1 year of experience who are eager to start a career in business analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making, improve business processes, and contribute to delivering valuable solutions to our customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Gathering & Documentation
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements through meetings, interviews, and research.
- Work with stakeholders to understand and analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Translate business needs into clear, concise, and accurate technical requirements.
2. Process Mapping & Analysis
- Create process maps, flowcharts, and diagrams to visualize current and future workflows.
- Assist in conducting gap analyses to compare existing systems and processes with desired outcomes.
- Support the creation of use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
3. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, clean, and analyze data to support business decisions.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations using Excel, Power BI, or other tools.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data sets and present findings to stakeholders.
4. Project Support
- Participate in agile/scrum meetings such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Assist project managers in tracking deliverables, timelines, and risks.
- Help ensure deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
5. Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
- Help facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder interviews.
- Ensure that communication between all parties remains clear and consistent.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of business process modeling, requirement gathering, and SDLC.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
