As a Senior Laravel Developer, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust web applications using the Laravel framework. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions that are performant, secure, and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Laravel-based applications
- Write clean, testable, and efficient PHP code
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA to deliver high-quality features
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party services
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Stay current with best practices, new trends, and emerging technologies in web development
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in PHP development, with 3+ years using Laravel
- Strong understanding of OOP, MVC, and REST architecture
- Proficiency with MySQL or other relational databases
- Experience with modern PHP tools and workflows (Composer, PHPUnit, Laravel Forge/Envoyer, etc.)
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js or React is a plus)
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of security principles and data protection
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
