Budgeting and forecasting
- Liaison with business teams to understand their assumptions to devise realistic forecasts and budgets for Branch Banking & Payment Services business in order to facilitate senior management for an effective strategic decision making.
- Review financial aspects including financial feasibilities of the new business products and planning their projections and provide support to business stakeholders for analysis and decision making.
Management Reports
- Responsible for preparation of timely and accurate monthly management financial results highlighting business performance.
- Provide assistance to support cross functional business initiatives with respect to appropriate transfer pricing mechanism and management reporting matters.
- Ensure implementation of MYSIS Profitability Analysis (PA) Module to improve system efficiency of fund transfer pricing mechanism to deliver high-quality results.
Business Partnering
- Effective liaison with relevant stakeholders in order to provide and obtain necessary information related to business.
- Meet business management and MIS/IT team for report generation and development to cater MIS needs of the management.
- Provide advisory and support on the accounting issues including policy matters, management reporting and other relevant aspect to the Bank Banking Team.
Business Analysis
- Monitor periodically Branch Banking performance against their budget and scrutinize variances and assess justifications and present to Senior Business Management for their review and appropriate action.
Compliance and Controls
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality together with compliance to all relevant Internal and regulatory policies, SLAs, management procedures and controls in order to deliver high quality and regulatory compliant products or services to the end-users.
Policies and Procedures
- Follow all relevant operational policies and procedures to ensure that work is carried in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Recommend improvement to the departmental policies and direct the implementation of procedures and controls.
Team Development
- Being pro-active in identifying and assessing training needs of sub-ordinates for developing appropriate skillset and competency to ensure departmental progress.
- Conducting formal performance reviews to optimize operating potentials and performance.
Minimum qualifications:
- Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
Minimum experience:
- Minimum 7 years of business finance experience in banking industry.
