- Support the execution of Operational Risk Management (ORM) activities including Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), Operational Risk Events (OREs), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and risk acceptance processes.
- Assist in tracking and reporting of BAU ORM programs with focus on timely closure of action plans and issue remediation.
- Coordinate and maintain documentation for third-party risk assessments.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely submissions, data validations, and escalations where required.
- Support the upkeep of SOPs, dashboards, and internal trackers for program monitoring.
- Responsible to manage third-party vendors
- Attend to internal customer queries and resolve them as per ORM framework
- Undertake quality review of risk registers
- Coordinate and participate in RCSA workshops
- Undertake quality review of Operational Risk events reported
- Monitor and follow-up on the actions required against Operational Risk Events
- Undertake General Ledger reconciliation across the Group for Operational Losses booked
- Support the NPPA process by liaising with the Product owner and internal stakeholders
- Monitor and follow-up on the issues and actions originating from the ORM programs
- Manage the Tasks initiated by internal users through Prism
- Coordinate logistics for the operational risk training across the Bank
- Prepare and distribute operational risk reports to various internal stakeholders
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing of Prism enhancements and changes
- Maintain central list of third parties and outsourced suppliers across the Bank
- Support Business Units in updating their Business Impact Analysis as part of BC Planning
- Support Business Units in creating and maintaining their Business Continuity Plans and testing
- Collate, Analyze and present various data elements as required by Line Manager
- Prepare Standard Operating Procedures for the department for submission to Line Manager
- 5 years of experience in Operational Risk Management, Risk & Controls, or a governance function.
- Foundational understanding of RCSA methodology, operational risk events, and third-party risk management.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working in volume-intensive, process-driven environments.
- Good documentation and coordination skills; ability to manage trackers and dashboards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with tools like PRISM or Archer is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
