Job Description:
DevSuites is looking for a talented and experienced Odoo Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Odoo development and customization, including adding fields, creating popup windows, and generating custom reports. The role requires a solid understanding of core Odoo modules and the ability to tailor solutions based on client needs. This is a full-time position based in Multan, Pakistan. However, if a suitable on-site candidate is not available, we are open to hiring remotely from anywhere within the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customize and develop Odoo modules to meet specific business requirements.
- Add custom fields, views, buttons, and popup windows to enhance user workflows.
- Design and generate PDF and Excel reports using Odoo's reporting framework.
- Maintain and improve existing Odoo implementations and resolve technical issues.
- Work closely with project managers and clients to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Stay up-to-date with new Odoo features and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Odoo.
- Strong knowledge of Python and Odoo ORM.
- Good understanding of PostgreSQL and Odoo database structure.
- Experience in creating and customizing reports (PDF, Excel) in Odoo.
- Knowledge of Odoo's standard modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (XML, HTML, JS) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Preferred Experience:
- At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with Odoo development.
- Prior experience working in a software house or ERP implementation environment.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Work Location:
- On-Site: Preference will be given to candidates located in Multan, Pakistan.
- Remote: Exceptional candidates from other cities in Pakistan may be considered for remote work.
