Position Summary
This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to GSK’s manufacturing operations in Pakistan. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth production processes, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and driving efficiency. Collaboration is central to this role, as you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to meet production goals. We value candidates who are detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain production equipment to ensure consistent output and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Keep accurate records of production, downtime, maintenance, and changeovers.
- Identify and implement measures to improve machine efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards during operations.
- Support preventive maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production targets and improve processes.
Qualifications/Skills
Basic Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for teamwork and reporting.
- Familiarity with GMP and EHS standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP or similar systems for production data management.
- Knowledge of machine efficiency improvement techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Work Environment:
This role is based on-site at our manufacturing facility in Pakistan.
