About the Role
As a Senior Engineer I (Web), you will be at the forefront of crafting user-centric, highly responsive, and visually appealing web applications for millions of users across emerging markets. You’ll contribute to the architecture, design, and development of innovative digital experiences, ensuring our web platform reflects Beyond ONE’s mission of simplicity, personalization, and sustainability.

What You Will Do
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and highly interactive frontend web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend engineers, and product managers, to deliver cohesive and high-quality web solutions.
- Optimize performance by identifying bottlenecks, implementing best practices, and leveraging tools to enhance responsiveness and scalability.
- Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to development standards.
- Stay updated on the latest frontend technologies and trends, integrating them into Beyond ONE’s web ecosystem.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, contributing to a culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning.
What You Will Need
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in frontend web development, with a proven track record of delivering complex and visually engaging web applications.
- Technical Skills:
- Must-haves:
- Strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Next js.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), with experience building responsive and accessible web interfaces.
- Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and client-side routing.
- Experience with frontend build tools and bundlers like Webpack, Babel, or Parcel.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating them into web applications.
- Fluency in version control tools like Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Nice-to-haves:
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and tools like Lighthouse or Chrome DevTools.
- Awareness of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and implementing inclusive web solutions.
- Exposure to GraphQL and real-time data integrations.
