Creative Chaos is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media Lead to take charge of our multi-channel B2B social media presence.
We don’t do fluff and fillers for the sake of filling up empty space. We believe B2B content should spark curiosity, deliver real value, and make people feel seen. That’s where you come in.
We’re on the hunt for a Social Media Lead who blends creative storytelling, strategic thinking, and expert-level copywriting. Someone who knows how to write with purpose, tailor messages by platform and ideal customer profiles, and transform complex ideas into digestible yet insightful content. Someone who thrives at the intersection of data and creativity.
We’re not looking for just another social media manager. We want someone who gets internet culture, has experience with and truly understands B2B in the US, and can build a community—not just a following.
What you’ll do
- Own and evolve our social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Reddit — tailoring content for each platform while ensuring everything aligns with our brand SOPs, values, and voice.
- Craft purposeful, valuable content — including social posts, captions, hooks, video scripts, carousels, and more — with clear, engaging, on-brand copy that speaks to the audience and drives action.
- Be the copywriting voice of our brand on social. Your words will reflect our tone, vision, and personality — and you'll continuously refine them to make them sharper, smarter, and more memorable.
- Create content that speaks to people, not at them. You’ll know how to make content feel personal and relevant — like a conversation that just gets them — and you’ll always keep strategy and audience intent at the core.
- Understand the difference between valuable content and fluff. You’ll have a strong editorial filter. You can sense when a post lacks substance, when it tries too hard, or when it needs a stronger point of view.
- Use AI smartly to streamline workflows, automate low-value tasks, and focus your energy on high-impact creative thinking and experimentation.
- Become an expert on our ICPs (ideal customer profiles) — You’ll develop deep audience empathy and build content that resonates with their real struggles, questions, and goals.
- Tell stories with strategy. You understand that behind every post should be a purpose — whether that’s brand awareness, lead generation, or community building — and you’ll craft narratives that serve both our goals and the audience’s needs.
- Leverage analytics and insights to improve performance, guide decision-making, and evolve strategy. You won’t chase vanity metrics—you’ll care about the numbers that actually move the business.
- Stay plugged into trends, publications, events, and industry conversations — and use those insights to fuel timely, relevant content that positions us as a forward-thinking voice in the space.
- Foster community — You’ll reply, react, engage, and contribute in a way that makes people feel heard and valued, not just marketed to.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

- Familiarity with platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Reddit — with real examples of how you've used them creatively and strategically.
- Proficiency in tools like Hootsuite, HubSpot, or similar social media management platforms.
- An eye for great content — You know what makes content scroll-stopping vs. scroll-pastable, and you have the judgment to create and help others create the former. You're not afraid to experiment but you always aim to bring clarity and substance to the audience.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and copywriting skills — with an obsession for clarity and tone.
- Strong creative direction skills: you can translate strategy into visuals and copy that hit the mark.
