Job Overview
We are looking for a UI Engineer responsible for translating the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code. You will work with the UX designer to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks and works.
Roles and Responsibilities
- UI development using Vuetify, SASS, and Javascript
- Build reusable code and components for future use
- Solve different UI challenges
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Develop and enhance the performance of the main front-end website
- Help out with front-end work on other applications
- Modify/maintain complex existing applications and develop new specifications and designs
- Perform requirements analysis, identification of code metrics, code analysis, system risk analysis, usability, automation, and software reliability analysis
- Collaborate with the UX team and other team members and stakeholders
Qualifications, Experience, and Requirements
- Atleast 4+ years experience in UI development
- Bachelor or Equivalent Degree in Computer Science or related fields
- In-depth knowledge of web markup including HTML5, and CSS3
- UI frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation, etc
- Pre-processors such as LESS and SASS
- Prototyping tools like Figma
- Javascript frameworks (Vuetify, React)
- Accessibility and ADA Compliance
- Cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Code versioning tools such as Git, and Bitbucket
