Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites with a strong focus on performance, security, and scalability.
Create custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to project-specific needs.
Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to bring high-fidelity designs to life.
Implement website optimizations for speed, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
Integrate external APIs and services seamlessly within WordPress projects.
Conduct code reviews, enforce best coding practices, and mentor junior developers.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and technical challenges efficiently.
Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of professional WordPress development experience.
Strong command over PHP, MySQL, Laravel.
Server side knowledge is required.
Experience with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.).
Expertise in creating and managing custom post types (CPTs), taxonomies, and WordPress hooks.
Deep understanding of SEO principles, website accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization techniques.
Familiarity with hosting environments (e.g., WP Engine, Kinsta, Cloudways) and deployment pipelines.
