We are on the lookout for a highly creative and detail-oriented YouTube Thumbnail Designer to join our growing creative team. If you're passionate about visual storytelling and creating eye-catching thumbnails that drive engagement—especially in the podcast space—this role is for you.
About the Role
As our Thumbnail Designer, you'll be responsible for creating 20–30 high-CTR YouTube thumbnails per week, primarily for podcast episodes. You will play a key role in crafting bold, scroll-stopping visual content that represents our clients and their messages effectively across YouTube and social platforms. The ideal candidate knows how to work fast, deliver consistently excellent designs, and understands what makes thumbnails click-worthy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design compelling and high-converting YouTube thumbnails tailored for podcast content
- Collaborate with social media and podcast teams to translate creative briefs into engaging visuals
- Develop branding assets such as podcast logos, covers, and supporting artwork
- Ensure brand consistency, visual quality, and alignment with client expectations
- Stay ahead of design trends and YouTube best practices for visual content
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet fast-paced deadlines
- Maintain a strong understanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles
- Present and revise design work based on team or client feedback
Qualification & Requirements
- 1–3 years of proven graphic design experience
- Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (Figma, InDesign is a plus)
- A strong portfolio focused on YouTube thumbnails and digital content (podcast thumbnails highly preferred)
- Understanding of YouTube’s algorithm and click-through rate (CTR) design principles
- Excellent visual storytelling, time management, and communication skills
- Passion for digital media, social trends, and creating content that stands out
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field (preferred, not mandatory)
