Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Professional certifications like ACCA or CA are also preferred.
Experience: 8-10 years of experience in finance, accounting, and taxation, with a focus on tax compliance and audit procedures (FMCG Industry Preferred).

Purpose of the Job:
Finance Managers are responsible for advising an organisation on how to increase profit through prudent financial practices and monitoring and enforcing compliance with finance-related laws, procedures and regulations such as tax filing and financial reporting. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing tax obligations, overseeing audit processes, and advising management on financial strategies related to both taxation and audit needs. They often have the following duties:
Responsibilities:
· A Manager of Finance, specializing in taxation and audit, with expertise in ledger and bookkeeping, is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's financial operations, including tax compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls.
· Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
· Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
· Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.
· Mediate between the organization, employees, stakeholders, shareholders and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.
· Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts.
· Planning and executing internal and external audits to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial records and systems.
· Managing relationships with external auditors, providing them with necessary information and addressing their queries.
· Analyzing audit findings and developing corrective actions to improve financial controls and processes.
· Developing and implementing tax strategies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and international tax laws and regulations.
· Overseeing tax audits reporting and filing requirements, including income tax returns, sales tax returns, and other relevant tax forms as well preparation of required documents and interaction with tax authorities.
