Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Android Developer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in designing and building mobile applications for the Android platform. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Kotlin and/or Java, possess a strong understanding of Android SDKs, and be capable of delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features.
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Work with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs, and continuously improve application performance.
- Follow best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest mobile development trends, technologies, and tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of professional experience in Android development.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with third-party libraries and APIs (e.g., Retrofit, Glide, Firebase).
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Knowledge of MVVM/MVP architecture is a plus.
- Experience with Google Play Store deployment and app maintenance.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Jetpack components.
- Experience with unit testing and automated UI testing.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
