Job Summary
The Sales and Business Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and expanding market reach for Arochem’s range of laboratory chemicals. The role demands a well-connected and knowledgeable professional with strong experience in the lab chemical or analytical standards sector. The ideal candidate will work closely with existing and new customers, identify new business opportunities, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition and Relationship Building
- Identify and approach potential clients in laboratories, research centers, and academic institutions.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients through regular follow-ups and technical support.
- Build trust-based relationships to establish long-term partnerships.
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement a territory sales plan to meet and exceed targets.
- Conduct client visits, product presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
- Track sales pipelines and submit regular progress updates to management.
Product Knowledge and Technical Support
- Demonstrate strong understanding of lab chemicals and reference standards to offer accurate solutions.
- Coordinate with technical teams or manufacturers to address client inquiries or custom requests.
- Educate clients about product specifications, usage, and storage best practices.
Market Analysis & Opportunity Development
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Participate in industry exhibitions and networking events to represent Arochem.
- Recommend new product lines or improvements based on market needs.
Reporting and Coordination
- Maintain records of sales activity, customer interactions, and lead conversions in CRM.
- Collaborate with internal teams for order processing, delivery follow-ups, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare monthly sales reports and forecast future demand trends.
Key Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of sales experience in laboratory chemicals, reagents, or reference standards (Fresh can also apply)
- Strong network in the lab, pharma, R&D, or academic sectors
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
