Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Coordinator, eLearning - School of Nursing and Midwifery.
Responsibilities:
The position will report to the Assistant Manager Technology and Academic Education, School of Nursing and Midwifery, Pakistan. The responsibilities extend to the administration of the learning management system (LMS) and other learning and assessment platforms. Moreover, you will be responsible for:
supporting the design and development of eLearning and hybrid courses through innovative pedagogical approaches for undergraduate and graduate programs by integrating emerging educational technologies into course design
assisting in developing engaging, pedagogically sound digital content using tools like Articulate 360
supporting faculty and students in effective use of online learning platforms by offering training, troubleshooting, and guidance
applying principles of educational psychology and instructional philosophy to improve course delivery and learner outcomes
providing technical assistance for the virtual learning environment (VLE)
coordinating with Academic Computing IT (AC-IT), Examination Cell, and other entities to ensure smooth eLearning operations
producing high-quality educational videos, animated tutorials, and graphic content to support digital instruction
supporting and collaborating faculty and staff to plan, script, and create visually engaging instructional media in developing new courses, including interdisciplinary ones such as entrepreneurship in healthcare
leading pilot projects exploring new and emerging technologies in education
providing support in organizing SONAM events, leveraging digital tools for seamless coordination.
Requirements:
You should have:
at least a bachelor's degree in education/computer science or information technology/data sciences, with a preference related to eLearning or digital learning
1 to 3 years of related experience
proficiency in Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle), and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR), with a strong command of Microsoft Office 365 and other productivity suites
experience in designing and delivering interactive, engaging, creative, and visually appealing learning experiences that are inclusive and accessible, aligned with accessibility standards
knowledge of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, UDL)
knowledge of the philosophy of education and its psychological foundations
understanding of modern pedagogical trends and their implementation in digital and blended learning environments
experience of facilitating training or workshops for faculty and students on digital tools or platforms
effective communication, and interpersonal skills - a collaborative team player with an innovative mindset
ability to apply virtual storytelling techniques (pictorial and animated) in educational advocacy
strong critical thinking, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
excellent attention to detail; well-organized and efficient in task execution, including the ability to manage timelines and priorities.
