DevOps Engineer - Infrastructure as Code Documentation
Job Description: Siddique Ice & Cold Storage operates cold storage facilities in Islamabad with IT infrastructure. We seek a DevOps engineer to document our existing infrastructure as code (IAC) and create rebuild procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document existing Docker containers, LXC environments, and Proxmox virtualization setup
- Create Infrastructure as Code templates
- Develop rebuild procedures and disaster recovery documentation
- Work alongside existing DevOps team to ensure knowledge transfer and system continuity
- Create deployment templates and configuration management procedures
- Document network configurations, database setups, and inter-service dependencies
Requirements:
- 5+ years DevOps/Infrastructure engineering experience
- Expertise in Docker, Proxmox, LXC containers, and virtualization technologies
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Docker Compose)
- Proficiency with Linux system administration and Windows Server environments
- Experience documenting multi-service architectures
- Fluency in English and Urdu
