Responsibilities
You will be responsible for working towards adhering best practices to ensure a
hygienic, safe and healthy work environment. Handle waste and maintain a clean
and sanitary hospital environment.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- dust all horizontal surfaces that collect dust daily to ensure cleanliness of assigned areas
- empty wastebaskets, other trash and clean ashtrays
- clean bathrooms including metal and porcelain fixtures
- wipe all furniture using a damp cloth (Sanitizing)
- dry and wet mop floors, both indoor & outdoor (Floor dusting / Sanitizing)
- clean patient & room and bed after s/he has been discharged whenever assigned
- vacuum carpets and clean spots on the same when assigned
- clean walls and windows when assigned
- inform supervisor if any wear and tear is found in assigned area to ensure follow-up from MEP, Civil and Electrical etc. departments
- perform emergency cleaning complaints when required
- any other related task as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- basic Knowledge of hygiene
- physically fit
- respectful attitude towards superiors and colleagues
- no Formal Education required; Middle School preferred
