Seeking an experienced Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) to manage animal procurement, coordinate with local Mandi traders, ensure feedlot animal health protocols, supervise selection SOPs, and liaise with slaughterhouse operations. This hands‑on role is central to maintaining herd quality and operational flow.
Animal Procurement & Procurement Coordination
- Source and inspect cattle at local Mandis according to established selection SOPs (weight, age, health, conformation).
- Coordinate with traders and transporters to secure healthy, well‑bred animals.
- Oversee arrival processing—inspection, record‑keeping, ear‑tagging, and quarantine protocols.

Slaughterhouse Coordination
- Schedule and supervise monthly dispatch (~100 head) to designated slaughterhouses.
- Pre‑slaughter health checks, feed/water withdrawal, and transport documentation management.
