We're looking for a Compliance Manager who will also act as the de facto Head of our Information Technology Department.
Job Summary
The Compliance & IT Infrastructure Manager is a dual-role position responsible for leading the organization’s compliance programs and managing all IT infrastructure, security systems, and IT operations. This role ensures regulatory adherence (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, etc.) while overseeing the health, security, and effectiveness of our Microsoft/Azure environment and IT service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance Leadership
· Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
· Lead the IT team to operational excellence through compliance and technical training, ensuring impeccable ticket standards and accountability at all levels.
· Nice to Have: Basic understanding of auditing, risk assessments, and lead incident response/post-incident reviews.
2. IT Infrastructure & Security Management
Administer and secure:
· Azure AD (administration and engineering)
· Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Defender)
· Endpoint management (Intune, hardware/software troubleshooting)
· Define and enforce IT security policies, including triaging and forensic analysis of Microsoft Defender alerts.
· Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, patches, and IT roadmaps.
3. IT Operations & Team Leadership
· Serve as IT Lead, managing IT teams and ensuring efficient service delivery.
· Oversee Zoho ticketing system, ensuring compliant and timely resolution of issues.
· Provide on-site support and escalate complex issues as needed.
· Train and mentor IT staff to improve technical and procedural competencies.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Partner with internal teams and occasionally clients to align IT/compliance with business needs.
· Manage vendor relationships, licensing, and procurement.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
· 5+ years in IT/compliance, including 2+ years in leadership.
Hands-on expertise in:
· Azure AD, Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Intune, Defender, Exchange.
· IT service management (ticketing systems, hardware support).
· Incident response and forensics (optional)
· Strong communicator in English, with experience training teams and collaborating across departments.
· Certifications preferred: Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, or similar.
