We are seeking a diligent and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout our Hotel. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to creating a clean and comfortable environment for our residents/guests.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas, according to established standards.
- Dust surfaces, vacuum carpets and rugs, and mop floors to remove dirt, debris, and stains.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure all rooms are tidy and well-organized.
- Wash, fold, and iron laundry, including clothing, linens, and towels.
- Restock toiletries, cleaning supplies, and other household items as needed.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and addressing minor plumbing issues.
- Handle special cleaning projects as assigned, such as cleaning windows or deep cleaning specific areas.
- Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for the Hotel.
- Communicate effectively with household members or guests to understand their preferences and address any concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of residents/guests and their personal belongings.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role, preferably in a residential or hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
