Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive desktop support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues across Windows and Mac environments.
Troubleshoot and manage basic Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and file shares.
Support and maintain Linux systems at a basic user level, including file management and system commands.
Ensure stable network performance by managing and troubleshooting network devices like switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Respond promptly to IT support tickets, resolving issues related to desktops, networking, and system configuration.
Participate in network setup, cabling, configuration, and periodic upgrades.
Document IT processes, procedures, and user guides for reference and training purposes.
Collaborate with other IT team members on projects to improve system efficiency, scalability, and security.
Knowledge of vicidial (VoIP) is a plus
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and firewalls.
Basic experience managing Windows Server, including user account management and network shares.
Familiarity with Linux systems at a general user level (basic commands, package installation, etc.).
Expertise in desktop support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Familiarity with network security practices and network monitoring tools.
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple issues simultaneously.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
