Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements for data visualization.
- Clean, validate, and transform data using Power Query to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Create and manage data models, including relationships and hierarchies, within Power BI.
- Perform basic data analysis and calculations using DAX functions.
- Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot any issues related to data sources or visualizations.
- Document processes, methodologies, and calculations used in reporting.
- Support ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requests as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL for querying and data manipulation.
- Strong skills in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.).
- Ability to translate complex data sets into simple, intuitive visualizations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
