Job description
- Keep track of all financial documentation, such as invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Importing of Purchase and Sales invoices into Sage 50 Accounts from the operation software by making sure that the correct procedure is followed.
- Reviewing aged debtors on a daily and weekly basis, sending them statements and chasing payments over the phone and email.
- Processing and posting purchase invoices into the relevant system, checking and informing responsible person(s) / department if any discrepancies.
- Reconciling creditors accounts and making sure that all invoices are approved and ready to be paid for mid-month and month-end.
- Reconciliation of Credit Card statements.
- Reconciliation of Import VAT / DUTY with HMRC Statements.
- Setting up new customers and suppliers accounts.
- Liaise with the Operation department to solve any queries.
- Assist with quarterly VAT returns and reconciliation of TB
- Preparing other accounting, statistical, and financial reports.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing processes
- Process invoices and payments, maintaining proper documentation for audit purposes.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to resolve any payment or credit issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements in managing finance
Person Specification:
Excellent communication with accounting background is a key to this role.
The person will be frequently liaising with internal accounts and operations for the various queries.
Qualifications:
The person should have at least 6 month-1 years’ experience in accounts.
Minimum qualification required is, AAT or part CA / ACCA qualified .
The previous experience of using SAGE would be extra benefit .
Working Days : Monday-Friday
Working Hours:
- UK Shift: Winter: 01:30pm-10:30pm , Summer : 12:30pm -09:30pm (this is the standard timings and can change as per requirement).
- We only follows UK calendar for holidays , no Pakistani Federal Holidays
