Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to lead 3D design initiatives and ensure seamless coordination with vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mechanical 3D design, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness in procurement and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
• Conduct mechanical analysis, simulations, and design optimizations to enhance product performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and manufacturing, to align design specifications.
• Oversee vendor selection, negotiations, and performance management to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, assess pricing, and ensure compliance with technical and industry standards.
• Support prototype development and testing, ensuring designs meet functional and quality requirements.
• Provide technical documentation, including engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement in design and vendor management processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechanical lEngineering Technology
• Proven experience in 3D mechanical design and familiarity with industry-standard CAD software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control.
• Experience in vendor management, including procurement and supplier negotiations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
