Key Responsibilities
- News Monitoring: Monitor multiple national and international news platforms daily (Dawn, Tribune, ProPakistani, TechJuice, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Content Discovery: Identify trending topics related to business, startups, technology, government initiatives, education, and youth development in Pakistan.
- Fact-Checking: Ensure the credibility of sources and verify information before sharing with the team.
- Summarization: Provide short summaries and headlines for each news item to help the editorial team assess relevance quickly.
- Categorization: Organize content into categories (e.g., Startups, Economy, Youth Programs, Innovation, etc.).
- Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, designers, and video editors to provide timely updates.
- Alerts & Updates: Set up and manage alerts (Google Alerts, social listening tools) for keywords and key sectors.
