As a Junior Penetration Tester, you will work closely with our cybersecurity team to identify vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications. You will gain hands-on experience in ethical hacking, security assessment, and risk mitigation while contributing to real-world security projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct penetration testing on web and mobile applications to identify vulnerabilities.
Perform security assessments and analyze OWASP Top 10 risks.
Assist in vulnerability scanning and risk analysis using industry-standard tools.
Document findings and provide recommendations for security improvements.
Collaborate with development teams to address security flaws.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and mitigation techniques.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or IT-related field.
Basic knowledge of web and mobile security concepts.
Familiarity with penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit).
Understanding of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ethical hacking and CTF challenges.
Basic understanding of network security and firewalls.
Familiarity with Android/iOS security testing tools.
Knowledge of SQL Injection, XSS, and other common attack vectors.
