Phlebotomy Duties:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and care.
- Accurately label, handle, and transport specimens, ensuring adherence to laboratory standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized phlebotomy area, following all safety and infection control protocols.
- Receptionist Duties:
- Greet and assist patients and visitors, providing a warm and professional reception experience.
- Schedule patient appointments, manage front desk operations, and handle phone calls efficiently.
- Verify patient information, process insurance details, and collect payments as required.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Coordinate with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Assist with data entry, documentation, and reporting as needed.
- Manage inventory of phlebotomy supplies and reorder as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum Intermediate, High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification from an accredited program is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in both phlebotomy and receptionist roles is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with phlebotomy techniques and equipment.
