Job Overview:
We are seeking a Business Development Executive with expertise in Amazon FBA to drive growth through product research, supplier negotiations, and brand collaborations. The ideal candidate should have strong hold over product analysis, sourcing products, negotiation, and communication skills to optimize business operations and improve profitability.
Core Skills Required:
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to negotiate with suppliers, build brand partnerships, and collaborate with internal teams.
Negotiation:
Proven ability to negotiate pricing, MOQs (Minimum Order Quantities), shipping terms, and contracts with suppliers and brands.
Planning and Analysis:
Strong planning and analytical skills to conduct market research in product screening, identify growth opportunities, and optimize product listings.
Teamwork Management:
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and logistics, to achieve business objectives.
Data Analysis:
Proficiency in analyzing sales data, competitor strategies, and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to improve product performance and drive decision-making.
Amazon-Related Skills:
Identify high-demand products using tools like Jungle Scout, Helium 10, and Keepa.
Source and negotiate with reliable suppliers for pricing, MOQs, and shipping terms.
Develop brand partnerships, ensuring compliance with Amazon policies.
Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and optimize listings.
Analyze sales data and competitor strategies to improve product performance.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and brands to align with business objectives.
Monitor KPIs (sales, conversion rates, customer feedback) for continuous optimization.
Ensure efficient onboarding of new brands and suppliers with proper documentation.
Skills That Are a Plus:
Inventory Planning and Forecasting: Oversee inventory planning to prevent stock outs or overstocking.
Cost-Saving Opportunities: Identify cost-saving opportunities in procurement and supply chain processes.
Amazon Strategy Development: Develop strategies to increase Buy Box win rate and organic rankings.
Compliance Management: Maintain compliance with Amazon’s evolving policies and industry best practices.
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Amazon FBA or e-commerce.
Proven experience in product hunting, supplier hunting, negotiation, and brand collaboration.
Background in sourcing brands and vendor management.
