The role
We are looking for a skilled Quantity and Cost Engineer to join our hydropower project team in Peshawar. The role involves cost estimation, quantity surveying, budget monitoring, and ensuring effective cost control while maintaining quality standards. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project financial management and contribute to sustainable energy development.
- Prepare and review detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs.
- Monitor project budgets and track financial progress.
- Evaluate and verify material quantities as per project requirements.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure timely completion of tasks within budget.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in cost-related activities.
With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
- Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. B.Sc in Civil Engineering)
- Minimum 07 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost estimation (hydropower experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in project management and cost-control software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.
