Position: Remote Architectural Drafter
Job Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Architectural Drafter to join our remote team. This role involves creating detailed floor plans, architectural drawings, and permit-ready documentation for both residential and commercial projects. If you have a strong eye for detail, solid technical skills, and the ability to turn concepts into professional-grade drawings, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Develop architectural drawings, elevations, and construction documents for various projects
- Translate design sketches, notes, and feedback into accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar tools
- Work closely with project managers and clients to implement revisions and updates
- Ensure all drawings meet quality standards and comply with provided specifications
- Maintain and update project files and documentation as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in architectural drafting
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other design software is an asset
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural plans with precision
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks independently
- Fluent in written and spoken English
