About Us: DiscoverMyBusiness is a U.S.-based digital marketing agency helping clients grow through targeted advertising, lead generation, and conversion-optimized content. As part of our growing creative team, we’re looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor who can craft engaging short-form content for social media using modern editing techniques and AI-based tools.
The Role: We’re hiring a Video Editor who is not only proficient in editing short-form social content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, etc.) but is also familiar with AI tools like Heygen or similar platforms for voiceovers and avatars. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong creative eye, understands current trends, and can deliver high-quality videos consistently.
You'll be responsible for:
- Editing engaging, high-retention short-form video content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook
- Using AI voice-over and video tools like Heygen, Pictory, Descript, etc., to enhance videos
- You should be working on 3-4 videos a day
- Collaborating with the content and marketing team to deliver content that aligns with campaign goals
- Optimizing videos for different formats, dimensions, and platforms
- Delivering videos with strong storytelling, smooth transitions, captions, and sound design
- Meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Working full-time during U.S. Eastern Time: 9 AM – 5 PM ET
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in video editing, especially for short-form content
- Familiarity with AI tools (Heygen, Pictory, Descript, or similar) for voiceovers and enhancements
- Proficiency in any editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
- Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and adapt to different styles
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently
Job Type: Full-Time (Remote) Working Hours: 9 AM – 5 PM Eastern Time (EST), Monday to Friday
Compensation:
- Salary: PKR 40,000 – PKR 60,000/month (based on experience and skill level)
Important Note: Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a test project to demonstrate their editing skills and creativity before final selection.
