Introduction
The Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health has ten community-based field sites across Pakistan (including four in Karachi) and focuses on research for betterment of women and child health. The Department has a Nutritional Research Laboratory as well as an Infectious Disease Research Laboratory that cater to the needs of its research projects. It has well-acclaimed work to its credit both at the national and international level.

This is a grant funded contractual position
Responsibilities
you will be responsible to:
- develop research instruments for new project according to their objectives
- ensure validity of data collected
- review and screen the hospital data and lab reports to enroll the suspected patients as per the medical records
- ensure proper collection of specimens as per the provided guidelines
- assist Supervisor in visiting different hospital facilities to brief them about the study purpose
- raise wider community awareness on Child Health related issues based on prepared project activity guidelines
- follow and ensure implementation of project related SOPs/guidelines as defined in the research project
- ensure proper implementation of intervention
- assist supervisors in carrying out day to day work on the field. 10. To perform all other duties assigned to him time-to-time by the supervisor
- Prepare and present weekly project related activity reports
Requirement
You should have:
- BSCN / Master's in Arts / Master's in Science, Pharmacy, Psychology or any other relevant degree
- one two years of experience in research
- ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
- excellent team player skills
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- resilience and ability to cope with work pressure
- willing to work in the communities/field sites
- good computer and report writing skills
