Experience: 4 to 6 Years
Location: Remote (Pakistan)
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain optimized BI solutions, including components for ETL, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and Visualizations.
- Develop data governance strategies for multiple solutions
- Manage a portfolio of Power BI and Power Apps solutions, work with multiple stakeholders, and communicate effectively on progress and blockers with the project team and sponsors.
- Adopt existing best practices or contribute to improving them.
- Handle ad-hoc and urgent requests in a timely manner.
- Be proactive and hardworking.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and logical thinking to solve business challenges effectively.
- Develop optimized solutions that involve complex business logic and ensure data accuracy.
- Quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as required.
Skillset / Technologies:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Software Engineering).
- Expert in databases with advanced proficiency in SQL writing and scripting.
- Strong in Presto SQL.
- Experience in Data Governance domain, especially with Microsoft Purview
- Expertise in data modeling using tooling like Erwin
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Power Apps
- Strong expertise in business intelligence and data analytics.
- Practical skills in ETL design and development using tools like Power BI Dataflows, SSIS, Talend, AWS Glue, or GCP Data Fusion.
- Proven experience in delivering complex and high-impact BI solutions.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills to design efficient workflows and automate processes.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms can be an added advantage.
