Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop detailed designs and layouts for solar PV installations for B2B clients, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
2. Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and expertise in solar PV design and implementation.
3. Ensure the design of solar systems maximizes energy production, efficiency, and return on investment for clients.
4. Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.
5. Liaise with equipment suppliers to specify components, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
6. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), electrical layouts, and other technical documentation.
7. Provide technical input to sales teams to assist in the creation of accurate proposals and cost estimates.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree(Plus Point) in Electrical or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in solar energy system design, preferably in a B2B environment.
3. Proficiency in solar design software (e.g. PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, Sketchup,Etap plus point)
4. Strong understanding of solar PV technology, grid integration, and energy storage systems.
5. Knowledge of local and international electrical standards and safety codes.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to non-technical
clients.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
