Role Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for our financial payment systems and banking applications. Your expertise in GCP and Openshift will be crucial in ensuring seamless integration, deployment, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development and deployment of financial payment and banking applications.
• GCP Expertise: Leverage your in-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform to architect and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure for financial applications.
• Openshift Administration: Administer and optimize Openshift clusters to support containerized applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Infrastructure Automation: Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
• Monitoring & Incident Management: Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues, and manage incident responses to maintain system reliability.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements for security and compliance in financial transactions and data handling.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices, enhance deployment processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps roles, with a strong focus on financial payments and banking systems.
• GCP Expertise: Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform, including services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and processes, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Openshift Knowledge: Proficiency in managing and deploying applications on Openshift, including container orchestration and troubleshooting.
• Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Terraform for automation tasks.
• Security & Compliance: Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements specific to financial services.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, or similar.
• Additional knowledge about Azure, Orcale cloud is a plus.
• Experience with Financial Systems: Familiarity with financial transaction processing, payment gateways, or banking applications is highly desirable
