Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior iOS Developer to lead the design, development, and enhancement of our customer-facing ecommerce app in the fashion retail segment. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, elegant, and user-friendly mobile experiences that resonate with apparel shoppers. This role is crucial to the digital customer journey. It has a direct impact on mobile engagement, conversion rates, and customer loyalty for our ready-to-wear apparel e-commerce platform.
Key Responsibilities
iOS App Development:
Architect, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift/SwiftUI and Objective-C.
Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and reliability on both iPhones and iPads. Ensure compatibility with latest iOS versions and Apple devices.
Ecommerce & Fashion Integration:
- Build intuitive and personalized shopping experiences for fashion consumers, including product listings, virtual try-on or size recommendation integrations, wishlist and cart management, fashion lookbook features. Work closely with UI/UX designers to bring brand-aligned experiences that reflect the style and aesthetics of ready-to-wear apparel.
Technical Leadership: -
- Provide mentorship to junior developers and code reviews. Define and enforce mobile development best practices. Collaborate with product managers, QA, and backend teams to refine mobile APIs and ensure smooth integration.
Tooling & Architecture:
Drive clean architecture using MVVM, VIPER, or Coordinator patterns.
Use Combine, CoreData, Alamofire, Firebase, or similar libraries. Implement CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise) for iOS deployments.
Integrate with analytics and marketing tools like GA4, Adobe, Firebase Analytics, or Mixpanel.
Security & Compliance: -
Ensure compliance with data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Implement secure payment methods (e.g., Apple Pay, Stripe SDKs).
Address app store guidelines and manage submission processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications - -
8+ years of iOS development experience with strong command over Swift and Objective-C.
Proven track record of building and deploying large-scale B2C retail or fashion apps.
Deep understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines. Strong grasp of mobile performance optimization and debugging tools (Instruments, Console). Experience in integrating RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
Experience with fashion-centric UI/UX design principles and ecommerce KPIs.
Familiar with agile development and Jira/Confluence toolset.
Preferred Experience -
Prior work in the fashion retail or apparel ecommerce industry. Knowledge of personalization engines and recommendation systems.
Familiarity with localization and multilingual support for global fashion markets.
