We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with hands-on experience in designing and developing high-performance, scalable fintech applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of digital payment systems and strong backend development skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable Java-based applications for digital payment systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Integrate with external APIs, payment gateways, and third-party services.
- Mentor and guide junior developers on technical aspects and development standards.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in fintech and software development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices Architecture, and multithreaded programming.
- Familiarity with payment processing systems, transaction security, and PCI compliance is a strong advantage.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
- Previous work on high-volume transactional applications or wallet-based systems.
