- Responsible for managing the production support for the most critical application of the bank. – FLEXCUBE Core banking for multiple locations including Pakistan.
- Executing the support strategy of technology by achieving objectives and goals. Responsibilities include delivering unique service by providing high quality of support.
- Accountable for support and manage Core Banking system that can impact the bank with huge financial losses, reputational issues, regulator warnings/penalties and also can incur huge operational losses.
- Part of Core Production Support function at Mashreq Bank Pakistan core banking support team
- Responsible for achieving agreed SLAs
- Conduct system analysis and provide support in response to user issues.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations in the assessment of issues and initiatives to support and enhance systems.
- Ability to Test FLEXCUBE BAU bug fixes and capture the test data as and when required.
- Verify production transfer documentation.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) arising from production system disruption.
- Prepare and maintain documentation describing custom configuration and parameterization of 3rd party provided solutions.
- Monitor applications to ensure adequate system resources to process at production standards.
- Provides technical guidance, information and instruction to other IT staff requiring broader subject knowledge.
- Cross border team management experience.
- Strong business orientation, domain knowledge to comprehend user requirements.
- Strong organizational, team building and leadership qualities.
- Engineer / Postgraduate with 13+ years of experience in FLEXCUBE hands on experience with product designing and implementation.
- Knowledge of Banking domain is a must.
- Having Extensive hands-on experience in FCUBS V14.x version
- Experience in any banking production support (L1/L2 Support) environment is an advantage
- Knowledge of Oracle PL / SQL programming is must
- Working knowledge of Product Design and implementation with respect to Business requirements is a big plus
- Strong understanding of SDLC process
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Experience of Banking Operations in particular Core Banking, General Ledger, Loans,
- Payments, Trade Finance, and other related Banking channels
- Exposure of manual testing of Banking software applications is a plus.
- Experience in Banking Production Support is an advantage.
