Responsibilities:
· Review and process medical claims for accuracy and completeness
· Verify insurance benefits and eligibility
· Follow up with insurance companies for timely payment of claims
· Maintain and update patient billing information
· Communicate with patients and insurance companies to resolve any billing issues
· Reconcile and prepare patient statements
· Continuously monitor and analyze payment patterns and make necessary adjustments.
Requirements:
· 2-4 years of experience in medical billing
·Must have Knowledge of medical billing software such as Advance MD, Simple Practice, and Kareo · Strong understanding of medical billing and coding procedures and regulations
· Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
