Senior System Engineer

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer in Lahore.

Job Type: Full Time Onsite

Job Timing: 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM ( Evening shift )

Job Description:

• Responsible for solving and providing support to end-users for hardware or software issues

• Responsible for installing, configurating, and maintaining the reliable operation of computer systems,

network servers, and virtualization while adhering to network and system security standards.

• Analyze and isolate hardware and software issues/errors by running diagnostics, documenting

problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues

• Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or

upgrades of IT infrastructure

• Asset management and planning for IT hardware and software

• Responsible for data security (antivirus, antispam, firewall) and compliance with data security

standards (GDPR)

• Ability to learn new technologies quickly, be a self-starter and team player with a strong attention to

detail and a customer focused attitude.

• Ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written form.

Technology specific role:

• 10+ years hands-on experience in supporting Windows Servers (2012-2019) and VMware\ ESXi

Hypervisors

• 5 years of relevant Microsoft Azure design & delivery experience

• Experience with large-scale implementations on Microsoft Azure

• Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure solutions including enterprise directories, on-premises hosting

platforms (vSphere/Hyper-V) and datacenter storage and networking

• Advanced Experience in supporting Windows Servers in a Virtualized environment and VMWare

Hypervisors in both on prem and cloud environments

• Experience with VM migrations and cluster load balancing leveraging SRM for Business continuity

events

• Capable of communicating and presenting complex information to technical / non-technical

stakeholders

• Understanding of security / compliance requirements as it relates to Azure services and regions

• Expert knowledge of Vcenter, vROps and similar VMWare management tools

• Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, AutoSys, BladeLogic Strong project and product

management experience

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
