Job Description
As a Software Consultant at Rawdeck, you will play a key role in guiding our clients through the design, development, and deployment of impactful software solutions. This position combines technical expertise with strategic consulting to ensure that every project delivers real business value. You'll work closely with both internal teams and external clients, shaping solutions that are robust, scalable, and aligned with best practices in modern software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their business objectives and technical requirements.
- Analyze and evaluate existing systems to recommend improvements or new solutions.
- Design high-level software architectures and recommend suitable tools, frameworks, and platforms.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful implementation of proposed solutions.
- Provide ongoing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead technical workshops, presentations, and client training sessions as needed.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve our consulting offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development or consulting.
- Strong programming knowledge in languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Prior experience in a client-facing or consulting role is a strong advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, etc.).
- Familiarity with enterprise software systems such as ERP, CRM, or CMS platforms.
- Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and experience designing scalable, maintainable codebases.
