Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Game Level Designer to craft engaging, immersive, and balanced gameplay experiences for our upcoming titles. As a contract-based contributor, you'll work closely with design, art, and development teams to deliver top-tier level design for action, fantasy, or story-driven environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design and prototype game levels from concept to final polish
- Collaborate with game designers, artists, and programmers to bring environments to life
- Create compelling scenarios, pacing, and player progression
- Balance gameplay mechanics, difficulty, and player feedback
- Integrate story, gameplay, and visuals into cohesive levels
- Conduct playtests and iterate based on feedback and data
- Ensure levels align with the overall game vision and quality benchmarks
Requirements:
- 10+ years of professional experience in level/game design
- Proven expertise in designing levels for AAA or high-quality indie titles
- Proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine
- Strong grasp of game design principles, player psychology, and spatial design
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience working on open-world, FPS, or multiplayer games is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
