Your work will directly reduce production defects and accelerate deployment cyclesCore Responsibilities

• Automation Framework Leadership:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Cypress, Selenium, JMeter, and Playwright for UI, API, and load testing
• Implement performance testing strategies (e.g., simulating concurrent users) and integrate tools like Lighthouse for metrics on responsiveness, stability, and SEO
• CI/CD & DevOps Integration:
• Embed automated tests into Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitLab CI/CD pipelines to enable shift-left testing and continuous quality validation
• Quality Advocacy:
• Collaborate with developers in Agile/Scrum teams to define testable user stories, conduct code reviews, and establish quality gates
• Lead root-cause analysis of defects using Chrome DevTools, logs, and custom dashboards
• Innovation & Optimization:
• Leverage AI testing tools (e.g., Treeify) to auto-generate test cases and reduce manual effort
• Optimize test suites for parallel execution, headless mode, and cross-browser compatibility

Skills & Non-Negotiables

• 5+ years in QA automation, with 2+ years focused on performance/load testing
• Expertise in:
• Cypress (with plugins like cypress-audit for Lighthouse audits) and JMeter (for API/stress testing)
• Programming: JavaScript/TypeScript
• Databases: SQL/NoSQL (query optimization, data validation)
• Proven experience with:
• CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• RESTful APIs, WebSocket, and microservices testing
• Soft Skills:
• Ownership of testing lifecycle from planning to reporting.
• Ability to communicate complex issues to non-technical stakeholders

Nice-to-Have

• Certifications: ISTQB, AWS.
• Experience with security testing or chaos engineering
• Familiarity with mobile testing (Appium, Detox)
• Office timings for this position are 6pm to 2am, onsite.

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
