Job/Role Description:
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience with AWS services and at least 4 years with Kubernetes (EKS).
Skills: Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.), Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tools.
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Advanced Skills: Experience with Ansible or other infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies quickly.
EKS Cluster Management: Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS EKS clusters to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
DevOps Practices: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment processes.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor cluster performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource usage to ensure efficient operation.
Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce network and security policies to ensure cluster security and compliance with industry standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to support application deployment and ensure best practices are followed.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the architecture, configurations, and procedures.
